I just got the impression that they order the original macbooks from apple and then modify them. Or do they special order just the computer component of the laptop (no keyboard or monitor)? It seems wasteful to throw away those two parts if you can just get the "computer" part of the macbook.

If I'm not mistaken, the keyboard will be replaced by Apple's InkWell to do handwriting to text so it's basically not required anymore. The monitor will still be there but above a Wacom Tablet.

I have one issue with this though. They get macbooks from apple and then rip off the monitor and keyboard. So this means that the customer is paying extra money for those two components that will never be used? I don't think that's a smart business plan. |
