Both undoubtly are great lyricist. Andre is just a legend. To me, there is no comparison. Lupe still honing his skills. God bless them both though for making great, original music.

man dre been in the game a minute but lupE killin it wayyy harder right now.. dre aint feedin the hip hop heads right now.... dre got more hits , but with lyrics and whos hotter right now, Lupe is ahead of damn near every nigga rappin real talk... so if u sayin 3000 better.. i cant see it... i fucks wit 3 k hard though ... but Lupe got 2 CLASSIC ALBUMS MA NIGGA on his own ... we need them 2 3k albums
