yes and no. a clean shot that kills the animal rather quickly has no effect. sometimes however, when the animal is wounded and does not die for a while and/or needs to be shot again, the meat does get a gamey taste as the result of all the adrenaline.

I'm not positive, but that looked like about as perfect a shot behind the shoulder as one can really imagine. Good shooting, especially on your first boar with a bow (at least, I think that's what you said...)
