This is so friggin brilliant...almost can't stand it. Nick Cave....the guy is such a trip! lol. But he can sure juxtapose...Toots....amazing. Just amazing. This made me wanna go out get his stuff. (I got some recommendations. Anyone else want to chime in, feel free.)

What a genuine curiosity, and, as a such, a collector's item. It's a tribute to the astonishing array of sidemen that Nick Cave's vocal inadequacies don't make this sound like some sort of put-on. Sanborn on soprano (wow!), Toots, Hiram, and that most protean of musical personalities, Haden, make this something really, really special. (But they should have played more, and he should have sung less.)
