Al Pacino won an emmy...It was not eligable for oscars as it was a tv miniseries...but you are right, the performances were brilliant....

It could've been a great motion picture. Unfortunately it had to go on HBO because the play itself is too long to adapt in a motion picture.

Every single one of these actors in the show should have won an Oscar for the brilliant performances they played. It's so beautifully written and has such a powerful impact on how life is affected. I'll love it forever!
