Certainly tobacco is more damaging than cannabis. However, most joints are rolled using tobacco and then a roach - which actually allows more of the carcinogens into the body than a regular cigarette.Cannabis also causes serious problems with paranoia.But, if people wish to smoke it, that is entirely up to themselves - people should be allowed to choose for themselves what they do to their own bodies - just as long as they are in full knowledge of what it will do.
