Nothing wrong with a song being put into guitar hero. i wish i could put my entire itunes library into guitar hero cause playing the songs while you listen is a hell of a lot more enjoyable than just listening imo. and no, i don't feel like a douchebag playing guitar hero. its just a game, why should i feel like a dipshit for playing it? and i'm glad gh puts in bands like this, it exposes them to people who, otherwise, would never have even heard of em.

What I hate is going into guitar center and the only songs that anyone are playing are songs that have been in guitar hero

i know what you mean. sometimes i'll play or mention a song, & some kid's like "oh yah", i know that song from Guitar Hero", but they've never heard of the band or anything. i guess it gets the younger generation into some good stuff, but the phenomenon of GH & RB get to me too.

You're totally right man - I am a selfish bastard. And I hope it doesn't sound like I'm blaming BRMC in any way, I just get bugged at guitar hero.

That's totally selfish. Bands are struggling to get exposure. They should jump on an opportunity like a guitar hero game or an apple commercial or a movie soundtrack or whatever get people to listen and buy. And anyways music is subjective, just because GH is a popular game doesn't mean BRMC will sell more records. And seriously by now everyone who has played guitar hero thinks in the back of their mind that they look and feel like a douche. But at some point people just play it for the music.

Man, I hate it how all the bands I love keep getting songs on Guitar Hero! I mean, it's great for the popularity of the band, but why will people like this song? Not because BRMC is super unique and awesome and a great band, but because they felt cool playing a song on a plastic guitar in front of a screen.
