The world is much the poorer w/o Murray Rothbard. He, as much as any contemporary, if not more so, is truly Liberty's greatest friend.Visit the mises d o t o r g for most of Murray's writing's and many more speeches on mp3 and video for free downloading. I go nowhere w/o hours worth on a thumbdrive to listen to.

the intro is by Walter Block, the speaker is Murray Rothbard.

You sure that's not Lew Rockwell?

I agree. Unfortunately the neoclassical school dominates economics in universities. Maybe Austrians will take over though, they do seem to be garnering more popularity, especially with the internet.

Nope. If I remember correctly, Rothbard was most definitely an atheist. Jewish by heritage though.

If you don't mind me asking, was Rothbard religous.

The most ethically sound economist of the 20th Century! Murray is the man when it comest to ethics and economics!! The first Rothbard book I read was; What has Government Done to Our Money? and The Case for a 100 Percent Gold Dollar and i thinks the most informative and readable book on the nature and history of Money. I think his work should be taught in all Economics and Monetary courses.
