(2008)"Ireland's Call" (written by Phil Coulter)"Caledonia" (written by Dougie MacLean) アイルランドを舞台に ��た「ライアンの娘」という映画がある。貧しい市民の反英感情の中、英国軍人と満たされぬ心のアイルランドの娘の不倫がストーリーである。映画の舞台になった1916 年、アイルランド義勇 ��は反英蜂起した。当時の銃弾の跡がダブリンの中央郵便局の柱廊に残っている。イオニア式の美しい建物の一角では、当時処刑された十五人の若者が切手となって販売されている。北海道と同じ面積の小国ゆえの悲哀の歴史を持つ、母国を鼓舞しようとする歌である。There is a 1970 film "Ryan's Daughter" which tells the story of an Irish girl who has an affair with a British soldier around 1916, despite opposition from her nationalist neighbors. The General Post Office (GPO) in Dublin is the headquarters of the Irish postal service. During the Easter Rising of 1916, the GPO served as the headquarters of the uprising's leaders. The original columns outside are still pocked with bullet-marks. It seems to me that the song of "Ireland's Call" tries to be proud of a small country and its history. The area of Ireland is equivalent to that of the northern island (Hokkaido) of Japan.(by a viewer)Esta es una pelicula de 1970 "La hija de Ryan" la cual cuenta la historia de una mujer Irlandesa quien tuvo una aventura con un soldado britanico alrededor de 1916 a pesar de la oposicion de sus vecinos nacionalistas. La Oficina Postal General (OPG) en Dublin es el cuartel general del servicio postal irlandes. Durante la Pascua de Resurreccion en 1916, la OPG sirvio como Cuartel general de los lideres insurrectos. A mi me parece que la cancion de "llamado irlandes" trata de las glorias de un pequeno pais en la historia. El de Irlanda es equivalente a la Isla norte (Hokkaido) en Japon.
