I have just written a song in chinese stylefor the the olympics called "come on join the dragon" just type it in google and you will get it. Your opinion will be greatly appreciated.Peter

This is a xiao, so it does not have a foil that vibrates (does it?). I think thats what gives it its much darker tone. The dizi (side blown flute) has a much more happy sound and is unsuitable for melancholy music.btw this arrangement is wonderful. The harmony is perfect.
