actually i think you'll find she considers herself arabic because of her lebanese hertiage. Thats what inspired her to belly dance as its part of her culture + who she is.

toinkx...shakira is from Colombia...she's half Colombian half Lebanese..she's not Spanish nor a Muslim...the history goes this way: "The Concordat of 1973 defined relations between the Colombian government and the Vatican." but i am not saying that she's a Catholic...and i am assuring you that she's not a muslim nor a spanish.

"an absolute huge difference."??? muslim is a religion,spanish is an ethnicity ,(like ya know, where she's from,what she looks like,what language she speaks, ect) i personally dont know whether she is either but its possible shes bothalthough given the amount of skin she shows in her videos i do find it unlikely she's muslim
