Kris Kristofferson is probably one of my favorite story tellers. He instictively seems to know how to paint a scene and shape real charactors in his songs.For example in Help me Make it through the Night, when he says, "Shake the ribbon from your hair, shake it loose and let if fall, lay it soft against your skin, like the shadows on the wall," this is about wanting to feel something real and honest and anything other than loneliness. The honesty's too much and I love it. Peace.
