She is the most beautiful actress in the world. The way she acted in the movie is incredibly amazing. In that era when make-up was not a great assets of actresses. She aced in beauty but then her valiant acting has no other example in the world by far and I guess there will never be anyone who could act like her :o)

after falling in love and then watching this film my heart breaks to see that they could not be together, this film is truly one of the best films i have seen yet, and Love is such a great feeling, and the only reason every likes this film is because of the love thats in it am i right or what.

Beautiful dance, beautiful face, and beautiful person. Madhubala is my favorite actress but what hurts is that she enjoyed her life with dilip and then it all went down from the time he left. But luckily she did movies after that.

indian poetry, music, dance and filmmaking at its best.. what is more interesting than the dance itself is the facial expressions of everyone present in the court.. the grim expression on prithviraj kapoor(the old king)... jus love it towards the end when the king sees her reflection in hundreds of small mirrors....amazing cinematography
