Man I would kill for an amp like that. I'm looking for an integrated amp to power my Cerwin Vega VE-12 and what I have now just isn't cutting it. That thing probably delivers LOADS of power.

I used to own a SA-7800 too, actually it was my first vintage Pioneer amp, sadly now both the SA-7800 and the SA-9800 are gone :( :(

I had my SA7800 completely refurbished last year for $500 (well worth it). It was tested for all specs and brought up to factory specs were needed. All the switches and knobs were dismantled and cleaned. It sounds incredible and can compete with some of the higher end amps ($1k to 3k). My dad bought it brand new in 1979 and was replaced and put into storage in 1990.

Believe me I had a hard time selling this amplifier but sometimes things happen in life you just cant control, selling this amp helped me finance the purchase of a special vintage car and the car itself is a gem :)
