Charlton Heston watching Woodstock? He had nothing in common with the people in Woodstock. He was from a whole other generation. The Omega Man was an awesome movie but this choice of movie for Heston to watch seemed a little bit out of place. Or maybe not since it fit into the whole seventies decade.

Actually, I agree with you to some extent. I am, however, a libertarian, not left wing. Left wingers want more laws. And as far as anarchism goes, try studying it a little, you might learn something, if you have an open mind. you were right, it is borderline anarchy. I don't believe we can hire in change. We are the ones who make the changes, individually. Truly sorry if I offend anyone. Peace

Libertarianism is about respecting each other enough to leave everyone else alone unless help is specifically asked for. If help is asked for, then providing the help is done if it's the right thing to do.Democrats and Republicans provide answers to questions no one asks. They provide help that is really the unwanted trifling in others affairs.Being a Democrat or a Republican is being a spineless follower unwilling to question anything except each others agenda. That, to me, is a cop out.

No. It's Democrats and Republicans that are on the same coin. That is more the truth than you dare believe. Both TELL you what to believe in.Both invoke COLLECTIVISM at the expense of individuality. Two good examples are the Red scare from the Republicans in the 50's and the Green scare from the Democrats today. Both treat the Bill of Rights and the Constitution like they were printed on toilet paper.

Libertarianism is nothing short of anarchy. It is a cop out and will never amount to much. No two libertarians agree on anything. Just look at your Presidential candidate. Libertarians and Republicans are two sides of the same coin...both severely lacking.

SMILEY,do not confuse libertarian with left wing. you are not a libertarian, you are left wing. your comments above prove it. that for which you do not understand, you denigrate. moonman made a simple statement giving best wishes to heston. you have faith in nothing and therefore cannot understand why others do. as watcher said (who you agree with) "honorable individualish" is what moonman is expressing. you cannot accept it so you must destroy it.

Hope Mr. Heston is with Jesus. Knowing that Jesus is in your heart. So to speek. Is what it's all about. Not the acting stuff. Jesus is coming soon. Are you ready?

I'm a libertarian, man. I agree with you whole-heartedly, and I'm sorry if I came across as anything otherwise. Being completely on one side or another is saying you've made up your mind to follow the crowd no matter what. Good to see a fellow thinker. :) Peace

You're both wrong.Liberalism and conservatism are labels for collectivism. The U.S.A. had founding fathers that appreciated the notion of HONORABLE INDIVIDUALISM, not collectivism.Despite the shallow differences, liberalism and conservatism are both the same deep down as they seek to keep you from thinking and deciding FOR YOURSELF yet to help others when it's the right thing to do.Libertarian ideas, not liberal or conservative ideas, are accurate to what the founding fathers had in mind.
