I used to have a cassette of his greatest hits (I think it's still floating around somewhere) that had this song on it given to me by my uncle (God rest his soul) when I was five. I used to listen to it constantly and later I got a CD of the same compilation which also had a few of his songs from the 80s when he began using digital synthesizers. His analog synth renditions were much prettier and sublime, though. His rendition of the Planets is every bit as breathtaking as Holst's original work!

I Remember This One On The Album I Bought When It First Came Out. It Will Transport You Into Another Demension When Listened To Properly. A Demension Of Love And Understanding, That Most Of Us Never Hear. For This Is One Of The Most Powerful Songs Of Love Ever To Beheld On The Planet Earth. Bless You All..

I remember that this album came out on eight track tape. I enjoyed it. Clair de lune done by Tomita always made me think it Rodan, the monster pterodactyl, would sing and write music it would sound like this. I never get tired of hearing it. I bought this album and others by Tomita when I could afford them for his unique interpretations.

I was first introduced to Tomita via a review in some keyboard magazine...I got his 'Planets' album and fell in love with "Venus" and "Neptune." What impresses me most is the *string* sound Tomita got...it's a thing of otherworldly beauty. Tomita may well have created THE most magnificent synthesized-string sound of ALL-TIME...maybe some of his other sounds were a bit, um, cheesy at times, but his strings are to sigh for
