Do you have any idea why the Star Spangeled banner mentions weapons? Key wrote this song during the war of 1812, after being forced to watch the bombing of an american fort all night. In the morning, when he saw that the american flag was still waving,he was moved to write this song. If you actualy look at the words(ALL of them, not just the first verse)you will realize that the national anthem has to do with how americans stand up and fight for what they believe in, NOT how they bomb people.

no, i pretty much searched throughout all anthems and this is the only anthem which mentions war and weapons
