This skirmish is supposed to show a part of the SYW's Western Germany campaign. The few British regiments that took part there did have no significant impact.Even the British commander - Cumberland - was replaced by Prussian general Ferdinand von Braunschweig. It were his German Prusso-Hannoverian,Hessian&Westphalian troops defeated the French decisively time and time again.

One of my fave scenes in this movie...(even tho I;m Irish by descent)I'm a living historian/ Rev war reenactor and this tune is always in our heads, usually being played by the British we are marching against.lol After I did the Battle of Trenton reenactment last Dec w/my regiment( 2nd NJ Continentals) I had this tune in my noggin for at least a month afterward!

Yes, the rest have joined the IRA and IRB to stop things like Bloody Sunday, Croke Park and Dubling bombing happening. My Great grandfather joined and he wasn't killed.
