O.K. Well I've listened to the tapes, and John Dean lied to Nixon and Haldeman repeatedly, about Watergate. He first blamed the whole thing on Liddy, then blamed the second bug on the DNC itself. If your really interested, watch the whole documentary. Dean was operating on his own in most of the cover-up. Nixon's chief counsel played him for a chump. With counsel like that, no wonder he had to resign.And this has absolutely NOTHING to do with Rush Limbaugh.

Its worse than that. John Dean ordered the breakins. Everything he told Nixon about Watergate was a lie. The coverup was of his making, and he let Nixon take the fall for him, lying all along the way. The media never even questioned Dean, because they hated Nixon. To this day, Keith Olberman and his crowd still suck up to Dean, and treat him like a hero. Dean screwed his whole country to serve his own interest (which was a prostitute he was screwing, too), and the media let him get away with it.

The real role of John Dean was to be a sniveling little toadie. Nixon was one of the best presidents (alongside Reagan) of the 20th century. Liddy isn't a fanatic--he's a loyal man and a true patriot. This country was a mess--Nixon helped clean it up, and then Clinton came and screwed it up again. If Barack Osama (oops, Obama) gets elected, this country is fucked.
