Hmm ... are you sure you've got that verse right? I've just googled it together with "Bee Gees" and "lyrics" and didn't find anything remotely similar.Maybe instead of "I wanted to die" the song goes "I saw the lie" from the Beatles' "No reply" ... just an idea :-)
