DEAD. No question. After finding an excellent article on the net, (can't post link since not allowed by utube) it's all there, like Chase said. Arguing and claiming otherwise would not be very intelligent after having read it. Just google: definitive explanation.It shows you how gifted David Chase really is. Perhaps after having read it, some people can "mourn" the passing of the greatest show ever made - now knowing for sure Tony is indeed dead - and let it all go.

ok - point taken - but did you actually see Adriana afterwards? Did they show her dead - did they show Silvio filling in the hole in the woods...no. I really don't want to ruin this -but i'm going to - Silvio was having an affair with her - he knew she was speaking with the Feds and so he had to have her scream and he had to have shots being fired out...it's all revealed next year...

This scene is nothing but an epilogue of sorts. Everyone here seems to think that something must have happened since it cuts to black. So what? Tony wasn't killed, people. It was Chase being Chase, nothing more.
