It's too easy to turn our good american kids into monsters. The system made them do it. Read Zimbardo's "The Lucifer Effect" about a creepy prison experiment at Stanford U with a bunch of normal college students that had to be stopped in less than a week, before the 'guards' tortured their 'prisoners' like they did at abu Ghraib.
