The beauty that Louis could draw from just a few notes, very simply played but with majesty, is so inspiring. What has happened that simple, unadorned singing and playing seems to have gone out the window these days?

Yes. Louis, an American Original. I am familiar with the composer but not Carlos Gardel. What a great tribute to two wonderful artists! :-)

I guess you mean Lois ´cause the song is original from Argentina, It´s called "Adios Muchachos" by Carlos Gardel composed by Julio César Sanders.That´s why Armstrong says that line at the end as a tribute to them :) ! Great artists and great music!
