Actually, Jimmy Page was the session player for the kinks on their record, the one with "you really got me" on it, which it is rumoured that Jimmy Page played the solo on, although he and the kinks denied this. I've never heard this before. I doubt this is true since Jimmy's playing is quite recognizable, and he is the band's producer. A producer can only book a session player.
