I just played this song on bassoon at band camp. We played it at full speed and had 4 days to learn it. The vivace part is by far the hardest, though it is fun to play. The oboe solo was pretty good, though there were some spots that cracked. Overall, not a bad performance.

I am in north Ridge Middle school which is a top band in Texas and we play this piece as well. It is really hard and you guys play it really well. I am in 7th grade and play the bassoon. The only thing I did not like was the oboe which choked.

Yeah they do. But that's a good thing, seeing as my band only has two and we have a serious tuning/balance problem. XD
