I love this music, but I think the choreography could have been much better. Michael seems so into the sex appeal these days. And the ending choreography could have been more spectacular -- even for a softshoe dance.

I haven't seen the show either, but from what I've heard the show had two parts. The first was primarily Irish dancing and the second dealt with with Irish immigration to America and the ways in which the culture has changed. That was how Flatley incorporated all the jazz into a "celtic" show. I think this is a juxtaposition of the two parts.

Having not seen the show I'm wondering what this "New World" is referring to. The costumes throw me for a loop - they are quite modern so is this new world America? The rest of the world? Thanks for posting this!

adding sex to irish dance makes it seem so dirty. *shudder*
