That makes sense, all of that stuff looked brand new. The Ivans and the T.A.L.O.S. monsters were pretty cool.And I noticed they dropped Carlos' accent for this game, too, lol. :-P

no prob. The only things Capcom made graphically for this game are Sergei, the Ivans, T.A.L.O.S., Carlos, Jill (RE3), Chris and Jill's outfits in the Russian scenario, and the Russian facility.

Actually, I didn't. I recently bought Outbreak, but haven't played it yet, so I didn't know about the lickers. I just kept wondering why they looked so different.The crimson heads and zombies I did recognize from REmake, as well as the hunters, and probably the chimeras, but it looks like they get better closeups in Umbrella Chronicles.Thanks for clearing that up. :-)

You do realize the "new" lickers are just copied from the Outbreak series and put in this game right? They reused tons of models from Outbreak and Remake for this game.

The graphics in Umbrella Chronicles are not inferior to those of the Game Cube titles, but there were a couple of problems in places.Some of the outdoor footage in the Mansion Scenario was too dark, I couldn't see at all. And then there were pools of water in different areas that were a little pixellated.The only unforgivable thing was how bad the new lickers looked. In every scenario, they were poorly drawn and animated. The lickers in RE2 from 10 years looked a lot better. |
