this is an album version... what are you talking about "his voice is shot and soon he'd be dead"??? you can tell that based on his voice from a studio recorded performance???? come on now.... this song isn't gritty or poetic compared to a lot of their stuff, its just a good song.

When the Doors were "on" they were incredible. This one is gritty and poetic and yet rocks hard at the same time. It's hard for me to listen to this one though Morrison's voice is really shot and knowing how soon he'd be dead makes it sad to listen to. |
