Bartok was a great composer. i hate it when people listen to this kind of thing and say it sounds like random pounding on the piano. bartok is incredibly specific and not random at all.

I feel like Bartok may have had the intention for this to be played a particular way, but is there a chance that there is no one way to interpret this piece and it is a reflection of what we want it to be? Don't flame me too hard.

wow..i love it!i was smilng the whole time!!i can imagine lots of little robots and toys in a factory of some sort!!its fun!!!:Dand i love the movement of his hands!!whew..must have been tiring to practice that piece

i agree with you imvorona I find murray perahia's version for example much better...But it is impressive Kocsis can play this piece in this way...
