Glas you enjoyed it. On this video there's a video response of another video I did splicing Savatage videos together and using a song from JON OLIVA'S PAIN.

I can't say I have heard of FIREWIND or Gus G - I will certainly hunt down some of their music and give them a whirl.

Hey there Petertheranger i wanted to get ur opinion on another young guitarist by the name of Gus.G of the band Firewind Im sure you've heard of them. Gus G is another young very talented guitarist who also plays with alot of power and emotion, his style kinda reminds me of Chris. I think his style is similar, check him out , and let me know what u think. STAY METAL!!

Hey! No need for apologies! The fact that you remember Criss and shared your words is good enough for me! I love to know he's still remembered and missed.

This amazing,great-talented gutarist, and also low-profile person is a big loss for the world of music and the whole world.i'm big Savatage fan,and i'm still pissed off with this drunk driver who took Criss' life in a second.R.I.P. Criss, your music...and you, will remain forever in our hearts.

I completely agree with you. I have had the good fortune of seeing them live, several times, while Criss was still with us. Amazing person, amazing talent - to be sure.

thank u 4 the response, peter, I've been a fan of Chris Oliva and Savatage sinse I first heard Hall Of the Mountain King after that I was hooked. There r alot of great technical guitar players out there, when I first heard Chris I was like HOLY SHIT WHO IS THIS GUY?I haven't heard anyone play with so much power and emotion. He had a style all his own, one of my favorate solos is Gutter Ballet it almost makes u want to cry, he draws u in and doesn't let up.I truly do miss hearing him play.
