I hate comments in youtube like"the best song eveeeer!!", but I really think that Jim Morrison was one of the best singers(and maybe rock musicians and poets and persons..)ever:) It´s incredible he complained to his voice, because I can´t imagine better one for their sort of music. I think, it´s a paradox, that so tallented man and so impressive person living so great life was so unhappy. Maybe it´s better not to be tallented and not to see many things:)

I for a long time hated the Doors because of the whole Jim Morrison pretensious "poet" poseur par excellence image that I understood of him. Looking back at the videos I remember why I liked him in the first time. The youthfulness and vulnerability.

Not really, he had a heart attack. He suffered from alcoholism, but the cause of death was a heart attack.
