They've been going for years. I first saw them on British TV's Old Grey Whistle Test, back in the 80s/early 90s. Believe they used to play weddings.

Never heard of Los Lobos (or half the bands I listen to now) until The Sopranos came along. But I'm glad I looked into this band, because their entire library of songs is kick-ass!

I remember hearing this song for the first time in a mexican radio station way back in the day and thinking **what the fudge** the guitar sound is amaizing, i still love this song, i hate **la bamba** though (talk about overexposure)

Love Lobos, but they draw the weakest crowd... bunch of sitters. at least in minnesota.
