The quote also reminds me of Superbad...the cop says his last wife he met in a bar was an actual whore, he caught her on the streets. Then the other cop says you should meet a girl in a non threatening place, like a pumpkin patch...lmao.I think his quote basically meant he wants to meet a relaxed smart person. A bar is just like a social setting where he could probably meet someone, and Physics is just a way he likes smart girls. He may think a differently cuz this quote is a few yrs old

uhm you never know..in order to entertain such a pretty face, being a girl and going to a bar for talking about physics, why not?presumably he said so cause the slight probability for finding such a girl. if he really wanted to find her, he would give a hint in which bar such a girl could find him ;]
