"Glitching with the glitcher". Electronic microscope, fume hood venting outside, digital sampling oscilloscopes ... all to save $50/month?

LOL thanks for clearing it out lol... he could really give those cable companies a headache selling illegal smartcards lol

he melts the plastic coating to allow himself the chips main processing areas, from there hes basically circuit bending, he is putting his own data pulses into the chip and watching the output, that way he can hack it to do whatever he wants. the input pulses help decode the security parts of the chip, once he understands the functioning he will be able to make the chip do work for him. its incredible, i wish i was smart enough to know the different pieces of the chip, i only know 555 chips lol

it kind of reminds me of circuit bending where the people connect random wires and make tones from the logic chips firing the pulses.

thats awesome you can bypass the security programming by going soild state to the circuit itself, that makes alot of sense cause at some point the data has to be the correct code, before its turned into a cryptic message. awesome job . how the hell did he figure out what chemicals to use. pure genius.
