It all depends on many factors. The only kind of striker / style that will ever beat Jiu-jitsu is: Lightning quick, pinpoint accuracy, devastating delivery, (as in bone breaking), calmness under pressure, master of timing / distance dynamics, extreme flexibiblity, and having that uncanny ability to know what your opponent is going to do, even before he does it. Exceptional strikers are in the very very small, pinnacle category and are few and far between.

If you mean hanging onto someone for thirty-minutes until the bell rings, then being unable to fight any of the follow-up matches--then yeah, he kicked their asses.

Why does no one in UFC or any other fight organisation use Aikido? All this style v style bollocks was settled when Royce Gracie kicked everyone's arse in the early UFC's despite his skinny frame. If an Aikido practitioner tried to fight in an MMA fight without any BJJ experience he wouldn't last 1 minute.
