Unless you were to drive a NASCAR today, a modern F1 driver wouldn't even know what slip streaming was !!.

What a race, what footage. Thanks for putting this up, I wish modern F1 had slip-streaming that was as effective.

Jim deserved to win this race...

Yep - The best race ever from a Grand Prix driver. And no one say Schumacher Spain 96.

This was jim clark's race...just another litre of fuel and it would have been his. To come back after losing a whole lap was nothing short of genius...JC RIP

Although Walker did commentate on the odd GP in the 40s and 50s (radio) and 60s and early 70s (TV), his main job was as a motocross commentator for ITV and road/circuit motor cycle racing commentator for BBC radio and TV. He became a dedicated GP commentator when BBC began their full coverage of all the Grands Prix in 1978.

Walker's voice is like a duck.

The Murray Walker commentary you can hear on this clip is a much later addition. When the race was broadcast on BBC TV in 1967, the commentator was actually Raymond Baxter. I have the original clip and the original commentary on a VHS tape.
