Apple has not commented on news reports that said part of the speed and reception problem could be from the phone's chip, made by Infineon, a German company.....Last week, an Alabama woman, Jessica Alena Smith, filed suit in federal court against Apple, contending the company's "Twice as fast. Half the price." advertising campaign is misleading, and that she has been able to get 3G service less than 25 percent of the time, and is routinely experiencing dropped calls.

call quality? you do know that there are thousands of complaints and reports that iphone cant get a signal, cant connect to 3g, dropped calls and all the firmware issues...lol so how is call quality better when u cant make a call? CDMA is far better then GSM. my opinion is Instincts music and interface is far better then iphone, speaking of video, u cant even record a video on iphone w/o a app, Instinct dpesnt need wifi, Instinct is always connected to EVDO Rev-A, thats faster then AT&T's 3G

LOL ur a moron quagmire, Instinct beats iphoen out in every category, features, webspeed, price of device and plans, i can afford to pay for a shit phone like the iphone if i wanted a piece of crap phone, i would have bought a iphone, i wanted a phone made by a company that is in the business of making quality phones, one that has push to talk search and vocal gps and has a removable battery, i wanted a service that has 5 times more 3g coverage then at&t, that phone is called the Instinct

Oh and have you guys noticed? Only two guys here have an idea of what they are saying when the the iphone sucks, and there are atleast like 5 or 6 people who know what they are saying when they say the instinct sucks. Dam instinct fanboys.

chuck you are fucking retarded. You can download songs on the iphone even faster. in 10 minutes i downloaded 400 songs and got all the updates. And no ones gives a shit that apple steals stuff from other phones. Samsung, LG, Motorola, and all the other companies have stole from each other. Lets looks at the phones. And I dont know about the 25% shit, but the iphone never failed me in 3g, even when i was on the road.
