I've heard once that you can keep the tone of the string longuer when you don't cut them... But I don't know if it's true...

i didn't say i didn't like his playing, i'm just not a nylon string loving kinda person. david russell is a fantastic guitar player, just not mu cup of tea :) its probably cause i was brought yp with folk and country music is where i got the love fot the sound of steel strings, i can listen to classical music, but from an orchestra, just not classical guitar. but as you say each to their own. hope your weekend went well.

man nylon strings are just fine, it depends what sort of sound you're looking for.look for "david russell" on you tube, he plays exclusively with nylon strings. |
