Would someone agree if I say that his style is very much similar to Liberace? By the trills and feel he's doing? Because a lot of musicians here compare him to Chick Corea, but I see him as a Filipino Liberace who delved into Jazz.

I met the wildman in 1985. I was playing then at the Oriental Hotel in Makati, in Carousel Bar. It was a strange night because wherever we look, it seems that we know all the people. We just found out the the Bar was close for some VIP hollywood stars, around 20+ of them. One of them was Bobby. In the middle of our set, the Hollywood stars just chanted, 'Bobby! Bobby! Bobby! Bobby! The Wildman just walked on the stage and grab the piano and played for everybody. It was a wonderful expericence

His legacy lives on, in his grandchildren...I play as well as I can, unfortunately not up to the standards worthy of being the child of Papa, however, He always gave thanks to God for his talents, and I believe that God has bestowed our offspring with the gift of hand eye coordination:). We sing. It comes easier!

I'm so honored to 'meet' somebody like you, son of one of the best in the world. I've always wanted to watch your dad perform live but I didn't get the chance. I was so elated when I saw the concert over Ch.9. Just one question, did your dad have any prodigy (do you also play the piano?), anybody wjo can continue his legacy?...thanks a lot!

I don't know Mr Danny, but, I do know "The Wildman, he's my father. I know I should have some kind of footage of him, but I don't... just wonderful memories of a loving Papa. And now, these wonderful videos that people like yourself have posted. Thank you so much!

You will be doing a great service for a great artist. I wish I could help you with the homework but access is far (I'm in Toronto). Thanks...I was able to capture his concert at the EDSA Plaza Hotel in 1990 (if I'm not mistaken)shown on RPN channel 9 on betamax. I wish somebody can contact Mr. Francis Lumen of the former City Light 88.3 FM station. They sponsored the concert with Nescafe and they handled the videotaping...they may have the original videotape of it...
