I hate YAMAHA acustic steel string guitars!!! I own a taylor 414ce, its way better than yamaha.

I've owned a couple of high end Yamaha guitars. They were crap, I got burned, and ended up selling them for a huge loss. Even a Mexican made Fender is better than a good Yamaha.

Are the higher end Yamaha's still made in Japan, are are they now made in China, or elsewhere?

u should prob. start out with a classical cause da strings r a lot easier to press down. once u get more experienced u should get a steel string.
