I couldn't agree more.. Sajak is laughing all the way to bank handing out trips and cars every night.. but, it was definatiely a case of bad timing because he has the right skillset for late night talk.

This show was launched in the wrong time. In 1989 Johnny Carson was the King of Late Night and this show did not have a chance. Nobody could beat Johnny nobody! This was a early attempt for CBS to launch a late night program. They finally struck gold in 1993 with David Letterman. If only the network would have waited a few years with this guy they would have had a hit with him. Pat Sajak is a funny man he has a very intresting sense of humor and it is a shame this did not work.
