I don't mean I hate all English songs in any way, but it gets a little bit annoying that people here seem to think that only a few countries can make good music. At least that's how it seems that the biggest radio stations think here. Bad songs can come from everywhere, good songs too. I saw your country in your profile and you had some great songs in the 80's/90's that I have heard. But this year you sent....a turkey?

And I prefer when the songs are sang in native languages. I really dislike the kind of music they play over and over again at the radio which is almost only in English. At least that's how it is here in Sweden. I have a big interest in other countries, cultures and languages, so I like to listen to music from all over the world in different languages and not only from 2 or 3 countries and in the same language. I don't think the lyrics have to be understood as long as you can hear the feelings

well....I said most of the bad songs come from there lol. Not all.The only songs I liked from western countries this year were Switzerland and Portugal and Iceland....and most of my favourites were eastern. Romania, Albania, Israel, Serbia..Poland, Greece, Ukraine, Russia had decent songs too. Turkey too. And Armenia. And Romania was not bad ffs. It was beautiful and in two beautiful languages. But different tastes I guess. Macedonia was not that bad either. I only hate the joke songs anyway.

only western songs are usually bad! are you deaf or something? georgia, croatia, fyr macedonia, azerbaijan, moldova, estonia, romania.... need i go on with the bad songs the eastern europeans entered this year. finland was pure class in 2006!
