I met John Joe a while ago, he was playing a Paul Loughlin, let me have a go on it. Looks very much like the drum on this video. He has about 200 different drums, all the makers want him to be seen with their drums!Personally I prefer Brendan White bodhrans.

He Kev,you are always talking aout ripp-offs...THIS is a ripp-of of MY drums. While the RWE was created with the help of Seamus O´Kane, who is a friend of mine as well as his son Diarmaid who you also called a ripp-off-maker...And the thumb screws were used by Malachy Kearns at least 15 years BEFORE Rob Forkner.(you can check this out on Malachy´s website). So better do your homework BEFORE posting this rubbish.Poor, lonesome guy. I guess you had a hard childhood...

How do you know? Have you compared the two? I played both drums, the Hedwitschak copy by Paul which can be seen and many Hedwitschaks. Both sounded great. But I am sure you know better

Yeah you're right, it sounds far superior to the Hedwischacks, though looks similar and uses thumb screws like Rob Forkner started using.

This Bodhran was made by Irish Man Paul Loughlin in Nantes (Brittany)

Actually, it's not a hedwitschak, but a brendon white bodhran. He used it when I had a lesson off him. It's a bit different for a white bodhran, but it is definateley a brendan white
