People used to say the same thing about the absolutist monarchs of the "divine right" era. Look what happened to them!Frankly I think the future of centralized organizations will be eclipsed, in this century, by decentralized methods of organization, made possible by the internet.

What collapsed in the soviet union was State capitalism.This brutal regime was never socialist/communist the workers where still wage slaves exploited by the state dictatorship.
