The words in AskSomeoneelse's text are written in older Irish from before the modernisation of spelling in the 1950's, with a couple of spelling mistakes..: )

Once again criticism because of my patriotism. Your a disgrace to the brave men of the 1920s. You might go home and play on your little playstation and go to school for free and great healthcare. Yet you disgrace the brave men who gave YOU them opportunities; to be free physically and spiritually. We are the natives of this land and we should have every right to stop foreigners coming in and ruining it. If you are against the men who gave us freedom, what are you doing on this page?

Why shouldn't these immigrants get the same benefits as we do? Many of them are more irish than ourselves. Why should we have to limit entry to our country? The EU is about allowing free movement of workers, throughout Europe. And all this stuff about national identity and culture, preservation of traditions? Bollocks, you're living in the 1920s. I can't see any reason why they should be preserved.I also find it very difficult to express myself online, so that probably sounds a bit garbled

For example: foreigners make up 14% of Ireland's population yet 30% of all benefits given out by the government is to the foreigners. In the UK, not long ago their government decided immigration hadn't benefited their economy in any way and also arose amazing amounts of ethnic isolation and social chaos! Also with an atrocious 7% unemployed in this country we cant afford to be bringing in anyone else in from the outside in this time of economical chaos

This country is being run AS an economy and not to the benefit and interests of the people. 66% of Irish people want immigration limits. his 66% aren't racist or have any distaste against foreigners as many of them also voted that immigration over the last 10 years has been good for this country: it's just that in the issue of immigration there is a fine line between the advantages and the disadvantages. |
