The third outing on the SNES. New on the playable rooster is Yae, a female ninja. So for the first time ever in a Goemon, we get the classic quartet available to control. Also new to the game, are each character magical attacks! The story of this chapter maintains the wacky nature of the series: an evil Ebisumaru Nun from the future (don't ask) kidnaps the Wise Men that now need rescue.Again, another Japan only release that im sure would be a big hit in Europe and USA.

If you remove the lock-out plastic chips from your snes, yeah it will work fine.

Goddamn it's been like how many years. This thing needs a freaking patch. As does Goemon 4.

This game is really great and probably the best out of the 4 that were releases on the SNES! Unfortunately, we may not see them on the Wii Virtual Console because of some cultural issues. For instance, part 2 can't because the main villain looks like Hulk Hogan and his plan in that game is to "westernize" Edo. The 3rd part's (this game) main villain is an evil nun, but I'm not sure what her plans are. As for part 4, I'm not too sure why.

It's great how they combined 2-d sidescrolling with LoZ overworld-style themesI only hope someone can at least make a translation patch for this game.

I don't understand why they only released the first game outside Japan. The SNES sequels look really good. I hope they release them on the Wii virtual console.

Just to inform you, who the evil nun is, her name is Bisumaro and she comes back as a ghost in Goemon's Great Adventure.

i like this game so much last time when i in school because this game really consider 'all in 1' game, seems like this game combine RPG like, action, adventure and robot fighting. because i dont understand Japanese so after reach some level stop already.
