Do you think it would be possible to the mod the guitar to take a light bass string? every time ive played the RG2288 it just sounds so muddy

8 string guitars, they cover a very broad spectrum of notes, and not a whole lot of bands utilize it, but it's definitely there to be used. Like, listen to the band After the Burial. They use 8 string guitars, but the utilize the entire instrument, instead of using it purely for low end shit.
