Religion should be kept totally out of government. It will never be so, human nature still being for the most part quite backward and primitive. The Presidency should be fine for a Catholic, a Jew, a Muslim or Hindu, a Buddhist, an agnostic or an atheist or anyone of any religious persuasion so long as he or she has sound values and ethics, is committed to peace and the welfare of the people of this country and the people of all countries.

JFK was definitaely a visonary. But like someone else stated, he was killed for that vision. His idead were just too ahead of their time.

Why did his voice keep getting deep and then high again. That was really distracting. Was it the audio or was he nervous?

People who don't realize his Historic importance in our country are just ignorant! He had a vision for his country, and he was killed for that vision. The CIA must GO!!!

I agree. What do you think about people who bring up Marilyn Monroe everytime his name is mentioned?

A superb speech ! I was born in 1954. As an 8 y.o. I can clearly remember seeing JFK's murder on TV. Over many years since, I've researched the man; his personal, his military, his political careers, and his Presidency. I, like other commentators, believe he was a brilliant man, of gifted intellect, humanity, and vision. I believe that he was by far the best U.S. President since FDR; and that no U.S. President since has come remotely close to his greatness & statesmanship. RIP JFK, RFK and MLK.

yep exactly. i think the camps are partly for rioting when the economy completely crashes in a few months here and then for the draft, for people who refuse to kill and be killed for these fuckers.

Thanks for posting. JFK's speeches and delivery were so well done. More often than not, it is painful to see and hear todays political speakers. |
