Most republicans (and not just multi-million CEOs of major corporatios, get that stupid stereotype out of your head) favor a flat tax. A flat tax is basically the definition of equality. And when, at the end of the day, hard working people get to keep about 30 percent of their paycheck after ALL the taxes are subtracted, it gets rediculous.

Well I think all nicknames are kind of dumb. But at least nobama and barack osama make SOME kind of sense. Nobama is pretty obvious. Barack Osama obviosly refers to Obama's willingness to negotiate and even befriend Anti-American leaders of foreign countries.

Caroline Kennedy looks like a genius compared to Palin; but, so does burnt toast.President-elect Obama just called on Congress to pass his new economic recovery plan. It's an ambitious program to save or create 3 million jobs while investing in health care, clean energy & green jobs.Yet, the right wing is prepared to fight against him with everything they've got. They don't want to pay for key provisions like health care for kids & laid-off workers. They only want MORE tax cuts for the rich.
