hey i am a boy from Norway. Try to land an dash 8-100 in Norway. I landed on a small runway named Hovden in full storm. Try that you dum ass. And Hovden is sorounded by 3000-5000 feet hig mountans. Alot of turbulence and bumping around. And that landing was not so bad. So think befor you speek !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well the thud was actually the plane becoming airborne again and the struts topped out. we landed pretty hard and had a good bounce then landed a second time. too hard to tell from the video though

The "thud" after touching was actually the landing gear axis slamming to the ground, the two rear tires touchdown, then the front tires descend to make contact with the ground. it wasn't the second touchdown that you heard.

Hay mikey69up even though the landing is never smooth any landing a pilot or passengers can walk away from is a good landing. |
